River Pools
We also have river pools at Porepunkah and Bright that allow for much longer swims. Both are fed by the Ovens River. Water quality is monitored and the pools are closed when quality is not acceptable. over Xmas to early march they have afternoon periods where they are supervised by a life guard
26th December to 26th January
Bright river pool (on the river in town) is supervised daily from 12 noon to 6pm. There is also a large and very popular water slide run and supervised by the Rotary Club of Brightwhich runs from early afternoon throughout the Janaury school holidays.
