River Pools
We also have river pools at Porepunkah and Bright that allow for much longer swims. Both are fed by the Ovens River. Water quality is monitored and the pools are closed when quality is not acceptable. over Xmas to early march they have afternoon periods where they are supervised by a life guard

Bright river pool (on the river in town) is supervised daily from 12 noon to 6pm.
Large water slide into the river
There is also a large water slide run by the Rotary Club of Bright than runs from early afternoon throughout the Janaury school holidays.
Hire" sit-on kayaks"
