abalina on thompson (our largest accommodation for older families) sleeps 6 in two queen beds and two king single beds. Rates generally set for up to 6 guests. Standard rates from $365pn for 4-6 guests (see specials)
abalina on cobden, our premiere accommodation, sleeps a maximum of 4 adults only in one king bed, one queen bed and one king single bed. Standard rates from $325pn twin share (see cottage page for specials)

Starter breakfast pack - optional extra
The following breakfast provision is an additional all up $30 and can be varied to suit individual tastes. It is available on the first day of your stay only. This is sufficient for a group for one morning or a couple for several mornings.
2 litres smarter white milk, 2 medium sized packets of breakfast cereals of your choice, 2 litres orange juice, cling peaches, yoghurt, loaf of fruit toast, soft butter blend and jam.

rates and availability calendar
abalina cottages reserves the right to change rates at any time. Where standard rates are reduced, then pre booked accommodation will be reduced accordingly (excluding last minute offers). Where there is a price increase, pre booked accommodation tariffs will not be increased. Rates through other websites may be at higher rates as they may include commission.
abalina 1 and 2-on-rotary 4.5 star luxury cottages and abalina 3-on-thompson (luxury town home) have been designed as a luxury retreat for adults and for those families who don't mind paying that bit extra for luxury. The cottages appeal to those who like contemporary furnishings, spacious accommodation and who want to be able to walk to and from town, and to the cafes and restaurants.
abalina 1-on-rotary takes 5 guests in two queen beds and one king single while the other two accommodation premises take up to 6 guests in two queen beds and two king single beds. Originally we only took singles and couples but added families after a number of requests from families who were happy to pay for luxury accommodation.
Children are welcome (under 16 years are charged at $20pn, on the understanding that the discounted rate means the kitchen and dining areas are clean on leaving and all items returned to their original place. one child under 2 in their own cot is not charged. The 3rd and 4th child are also not charged. Cots are not provided and required to be brought along as part of our terms and conditions. The one child under two who is not charged is not counted in the children numbers.
Maximum of 4 adult guests charged
Our online calendar and booking system allows you to make real-time bookings and payment (except for Pay 2/Stay 3 bookings and $1,200pw booking specials). We also welcome bookings and credit card payments over the phone (03) 5755 1559.
Weekly bookings Unless the special $200pn weekly special is noted, Stay 7/Pay 6 will apply.
Single night surcharge may charge 10%. Phone/email to check if one night booking is a possibility.
Pets - unfortunately we do not take pets, but can recommend others that do.
Terms and Conditions Summary
- All cottages are non-smoking
- Minimum 2 night booking (longer in peak times, school holidays and winter - check availability calendar)
- Only full weekends, not single Friday and Saturday nights, are available for booking. Please phone/email for first for a possible single Friday or Saturday night before booking online)
- One-night bookings in quieter times, or between bookings, may be considered with a10% loading to cover additional cleaning and laundry.
- 50% deposit, with balance payable 30 days in advance. If booking more than 6 months in advance, $250 secures the booking with the balance deposit due 3 months prior to arrival.
- Maximum of 5 guests+ one baby/toddler under 2 years in abalina 1-on-rotary 1 and 6 guests + one baby/toddler under 2 years in abalina 2-on-rotary and abalina -on-thompson. Maximum of 4 adults and one non crawling babay in abalina-on-cobden
- When booking for 4 adults and 2 children, the adults will be charged but the children will not (note when booking online the children as 5th and 6th guests so they won't be charged and then advise that these guests are children in the notes section).
- All linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, waffle robes, provided for your stay
- Discounted rates and children rates are offered on the understanding that guests will leave the kicthen and dining areas clean and all items reurned to their original position.
- This is a pet free and smoke free zone (smoking outside in the courtyard is fine)
- Refund of deposit if booking cancelled giving 30 or more days notice of cancellation (less $50 administration fee if paid by credit card, no fee if paid by Intenet transfer or direct deposit). No refunds under 30 days with possible off peak bookings transferred to another time at the discretion of the host. No refunds for peak bookings cancelled under 30 days but, if successfully rebooked, a full refund will be provided less the $50 administration fee if payments made through a credit card..
