abalina on thompson (our largest accommodation for older families) sleeps 6 in two queen beds and two king single beds. Rates generally set for up to 6 guests. Standard rates from $385pn for 4-6 guests (see specials)
abalina on cobden, our premiere accommodation, sleeps a maximum of 6 guests in one king and 2 queen beds . Standard rates from $270pn (one couple), $295pn twin share (see cottage page for specials), $375pn 2 couples and $415 for 3 couples.
Porta cot and High Chair available at no extra charge.The large porta cot can also be used as a play pen. You will need to bring your own sheets, blankets and a pillow for the porta cot.

Wireless Internet
Available in the first instance only in abalina-on-thompson and abalina-on-cobden. If not used in these cottages then also made available in other 2 cottages. Add from services. $5 per night of your stay. Tariff is for light usage and does not include music and video downloads or uploads.
Starter breakfast pack - optional extra
The following breakfast provision is an additional all up $30 and can be varied to suit individual tastes. It is available on the first day of your stay only. This is sufficient for a group for one morning or a couple for several mornings.
2 litres smarter white milk, 2 medium sized packets of breakfast cereals of your choice, 2 litres orange juice, cling peaches, yoghurt, loaf of fruit toast, soft butter blend and jam.

rates and availability calendar
abalina cottages reserves the right to change rates at any time. Where standard rates are reduced, then pre booked accommodation will be reduced accordingly (excluding last minute offers). Where there is a price increase, pre booked accommodation tariffs will not be increased. Rates through other websites may be at higher rates as they may include commission (e.g $15pn in stayz.com.au and 11% for bright escapes and Alpine Visitor Information Centre.)
The cottages have been set up as a luxury retreat for adults and for those families who don't mind paying that bit extra for luxury. The cottages appeal to those who like contemporary furnishings, spacious accommodation and who want to be able to walk to and from town, and to the cafes and restaurants.
Children are welcome (under 16 years are charged at $20pn, in abalina 1 and 2 and full rates in abalina on thompson and abalina on cobden (unless the other 2 are fully booked).

Single night surcharge may charge 10% on the standard rate. One night bookings at the discretion of the host. Phone/email to check if one night booking is a possibility.
Pets - unfortunately we do not take pets, but can recommend others that do.
Terms and Conditions Summary
- All cottages are non-smoking
- Check-in after 3pm. For bookings of 1-4 nights, check out before 11am. For bookings of 5 nights or more, check out before 10am.
- Minimum 2 night booking (longer in peak times, school holidays and winter - check availability calendar)
- Only full weekends, not single Friday and Saturday nights, are available for booking online. Please phone/email for first for a possible single Friday or Saturday night is available.
- One-night bookings in quieter times, or between bookings, may be considered with 10% loading on standard rates to cover additional cleaning and laundry.
- 50% deposit, with balance payable 30 days in advance. If booking more than 6 months in advance, $250 secures the booking with the balance deposit due 3 months prior to arrival.
- Maximum of 6 guests+ one baby/toddler under 2 years
- When booking for 4 adults and 2 children, the adults will be charged the full rate but the children will be charged the lower rate. 5th and 6th guest rate is lower again.
- All linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, waffle robes, provided for your stay
- Discounted rates and children rates are offered on the understanding that guests will leave the kicthen and dining areas clean and all items reurned to their original position.
- This is a pet free and smoke free zone (smoking outside in the courtyard is fine)
- Refund of deposit if booking cancelled giving 30 or more days notice of cancellation (less $50 administration fee if paid by credit card, no fee if paid by Intenet transfer or direct deposit). No refunds under 30 days with possible off peak bookings transferred to another time at the discretion of the host. No refunds for peak bookings cancelled under 30 days but, if successfully rebooked, a full refund will be provided less the $50 administration fee if payments made through a credit card..
