Terms and Conditions

 

Number of guests per cottage

Each cottage has accommodation for five in two Queen beds and one king single.

Children will be charged at adult rates. One child under 2 will not be charged. Guests will need to bring their own portable cots and high chairs.

Breakfast

Breakfast (for bookings made after 24th June 2008) is an additional add-on service

Breakfast for up to 5 guests on the first morning only is $30 (sufficient for two days for 2 guests) Natural muesli and Sustain, 2 litres orange juice, 2 litres milk, yoghurt, cling peaches, raison toast and butter

Deposits and Full Payment

A deposit of $50% of the total tariff is to be paid immediately, by credit card, to secure the booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard. For charges made to an American Express card the standard processing fee applies. Please phone (03) 5755 1559 to make a payment by direct deposit or cheque. Full payment is required 14 days prior to booking. Cheques must be deposited the next day into abalina cottages account.

Host may move you to the other cottage

In order to facilitate bookings, on a rare occasion the host may move you to the other cottage. As both cottages are of the same standard your stay will not be diminished. However, if you are two couples in cottage 1 where the second bathroom can be closed off to form a second ensuite your permission will be sought first.

Cancellation and Refunds

Provided that a cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to the booked date of arrival, the deposit (i.e. 50% of the total tariff) is refundable, less a $50.00 administration levy.

If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the due date of arrival, we will endeavour to re-book the accommodation. If successful, the full payment/deposit will be refunded, less the $50.00 administration levy. If not unfortunately there will be no refund.

Transfers can be made only to times available and to the value of the original booking, and are at the discretion of the owner. Any increase in tariff is to be covered by the guests. Usually for peak and popular periods such as the Hot Rod Weekend, long weekends, Melbourne Cup, Easter and Xmas holidays, transfers cannot be made from these dates although re-bookings are likely.

If the balance payment is not received 14 days prior to arrival the host reserves the right to cancel the booking. The deposit will only be refunded if a successful booking is made (less $50 administration fee).

Check in from 3pm and check out from 11am.

 

Smoking

The interiors of abalina cottages are smoke free; however, guests may smoke out-of-doors, in the courtyard.

 

Damage Policy
While we acknowledge that accidents can happen, any breakages or damages to goods and property of our accommodation, is the guests’ responsibility and may be charged on departure.
